I don’t know if you guys can laugh about gamer stereotypes. I know I can. Everytime I watch the awesome movie “The Gamers” I am literally rolling on the floor laughing. Another pretty funny short movie about fantasy roleplayers is “Fear of Girls”.
Episode 1:
Episode 2:
And by the way, do American gamers really use “boo-yah” when rolling a natural 20?
I don’t know about American gamers, but this canadian one does…
So Funny!
This French Canadian one says ‘Woot’ 🙂

I find it funny that the adventure in Episode 1 was actually published, My FLGS had a copy behind the counter for a while. 😀
Normally I just say “threat” but I guess it depends on the system you use… 😉
I often burst into song of "Oh oh it's magiiiiic" when I roll a natural 20. Because it only ever happens once a year.

I usually prefer “w00t!” If it’s a 20 with one of my greataxes, I might throw horns.
While I don’t know about the movie, I find fear of girls to be a logical response to the female gender. And I say this as a girl gamer who’s running a session later today.
I'd imagine that if anyone in our group said "booyah" then they would be the butt of every joke until the next guy did something worthy to take his place.
Thanks for sharing these funny webisodes!

I don't shout 'Boo-Yah' but that might be because I'm Canadian not American. I do jump up, point at the DM and say "You're dead sucker! Sneak dice to the max!" This normally makes me the target of all NPC attacks the next round. I then beg for healing as my fellow party members shake their heads in disgust.
